Welcome to the pages of the Diocesan Board of Lifelong Learning

Children learning

Learning together

Christians believe that it’s really important that we learn throughout our lives, so we want to encourage disciples of all ages, enabling and supporting them in their faith journeys.

We are committed to providing learning opportunities for the whole family of the diocese through supporting church schools, working with children and young people in parishes and deaneries and making training available for adults.

We hope to offer something to you – it’s never too soon or too late for learning!

News

In the Autumn, Bishop Gregory launched a competition to design a card that he could use to send his Christmas greetings to clergy, friends and family in the U.K. and across the world.

Winners with Bishop Gregory

Bishop Gregory with first prize winner, Faye Davies, and runners-up Deon Mansley (Trefnant) and Megan Owen (Bronnington).

The judges - Mrs Clare Cameron (the Bishop's wife), Ms Carole Burgess (Director of Lifelong Learning) and the Revd Peter Mackriell (Diocesan Communications Officer) - had a challenging task, with a good response from our church schools.

They chose a delightful epiphany scene by Faye Davies from Ysgol Beuno Sant, Bala, as the first prize winner.
