Welcome to the Youth Pages for the St Asaph Diocese. Work with young people plays a vital role in the life of our Diocese.  In 2007 the St Asaph Diocesan Youth and Children’s Work Strategy was launched. Backed by the Youth Work Grants Scheme its aim is to provide support for those involved in this sector of work with our Diocese.  The key elements can be found on the Diocesan Strategy page.

Young people need to regain a sense of destiny and we dream of a church that recognises the part they have to play in the body of Christ.  Young people are not faceless groups in hoods, but individuals created in the image of God who have needs, hopes, fears, dreams, aspirations and purpose.

Rock Solid BalaThere is much work within our Diocese that is taking this into account and working with young people in exciting and effective ways.  There is still much work to be done.  Journeying with children and young people can be both rewarding and fulfilling.

St Asaph Diocese employs an Under 25s' Officer to help facilitate and encourage work with children and young people.  This role aims to offer advice to people within the Diocese on such things as: training, new initiatives, resources, supporting volunteers and helping direct existing work.
