DAC Meeting

DAC Meetings

Many proposals require consideration ahead of each meeting from specific members of the Committee, Cadw and the relevant Local Authority.

This consultation period is 21 days, in these cases, a decision cannot be made at the DAC meeting unless the Faculty has been submitted at least 4 weeks before the meeting date, by this time all the responses will have been received in time for the meeting.

This allows the Members to make a recommendation to the Chancellor.

If the Faculty is for work that does not require the 21 day consultations, then it can be submitted no later than 7 working days ahead of the meeting.

For advice at an early stage, Form 1 of Part 1 should be submitted. This also would need to be submitted no later than 7 working days ahead of the meeting.

You can download a list of meeting dates for 2012. Meetings are usually held at the Diocesan Office at 10am on a Monday.
