Installing Mr Williams as Registrar, Professor West as Canon Chancellor and Reverend Suter as Honorary Canon, Bishop Gregory used scripture from Joshua and Ephesians to emphasise the importance of ministry during his sermon.

He commended Mike West’s ministry in education, Alan Suter’s parish ministry and Llyr Williams' ministry in the study of the law.

Commenting on the installation, Bishop Gregory Cameron said:

"This occasion is a great celebration for the Church of a wide diversity of ministry – in education, in law, in quiet priestly and pastoral care.

"For Alan, we look back in thanksgiving for many years of faithful service in the diocese; for Mike, we honour the many gifts that he brings to his current ministry in Wrexham as priest and educator.

"For Llyr, we look forward to a future keeping the whole diocese in order as our legal officer. For these three outstanding forms of Christian ministry, and for three very special people, I give thanks to God."
