BISHOP ANDREW JOHN APPOINTS NEW Archdeacon of Meirionydd

I am delighted to announce that Canon Andrew Jones has accepted my invitation to be the next Archdeacon of Meirionydd. Canon Andrew will be a great asset to the Bishop’s Staff and is thoroughly acquainted with the Archdeaconry already.

I have agreed with the Dean that Andrew will be collated during Choral Evensong on Thursday 7th October at 5.30pm. The diocese is invited to share in this happy occasion and we will send confirmation details of the service arrangements nearer the time.

Please hold Andrew and the parishes of Llanbedrog and Llanor with Llanengan and Llangian (where he will continue to serve as Rector) in your prayers at this time.
