Bishop's Welsh Highland & ffestiniog Railway Visit

 

The Bishop Andy John visited the Welsh Highland and Pothmadog - Blaenau railway trip last Thursday (16th October, 2009). The company brings about £10 million to the local economy and employs over 60 people many of whom are skilled locally. It is a North Wales success story and the Bishop was glad to be there to acknowledge this.

The Bishop mentioned that he is very much looking forward to blessing the next stage of the line which is expected to open either next year or in 2011.
