Venturing in Mission is St Davids Diocesan direction. Since 2005 we, as a Diocese, have committed ourselves to this common way of worshipping, working and witnessing.
DCMM The life and ministry of the Diocese of St Davids is manifested in a variety of ways both at local and diocesan level. In terms of organisation we meet together as a Diocesan Council for Mission and Ministry (DCMM) where each aspect of church life is represented. This council works together to encourage and resource church life at all levels.
Church Schools There are 34 church schools within the Diocese of St Davids. 9 are Voluntary Aided and 25 Voluntary Controlled.
Pobl Dewi is the Diocesan Newspaper. This section will include details on submission, as well as a selection of articles to read online.
Ministry - the Ministry of God’s Church is exercised by every baptised member of the Church in this Diocese. Some of those are called to the ordained ministry, either stipendiary or non-stipendiary clergy. There are also those who exercise a ministry with a permission to officiate from the Bishop. We also have several authorised lay ministries in the form of Lay Readers, Worship Leaders, Pastoral Assistants, Pastoral Eucharistic Assistants and Eucharistic Assistants. We are committed to encourage everyone to realise and exercise their Christian calling.
