- St. Beuno's, Bettws Cedewain
- The church occupies an ancient site, almost certainly the site of the prayer house established here by St. Beuno in the sixth century. The oldest part of the present building is the impressive sixteenth century tower at the wset end. The remainder of the church was rebuilt by the noted Architect W E Nesfield in 1868. It provides a fascinating insight into the type of country church advocated by the so-called Tractarian wing of the Anglican church during the C19th. There is good stained glass, fine statuary and the encaustic tiles beloved by the Victorians.
- St. Cynon's, Tregynon
- St. Cynon's stands in a raised churchyard, commanding views across the village and towards the hills encircling the Severn Valley. It has some interesting C19th & early C20th stained glass windows, and a striking white and pink alabaster reredos - it is particularly so under artificial light. This is a delightful church in which to celebrate the good news of Christ.
